late desert muzzy hunt

Did anyone draw this or know anyone who did? It's getting harder every year to draw.

Bruce,  I have not heard of anyone this year.

It has  been taking 8 points to draw the last few years

It took me 8 this year too. I usually hear of some  locals drawing it but not this year.

I put in for it with my second choice with 3 bonus points. I'm sure I won't draw, but we'll see.

It’s a 5 unit 50 permit muzzleloader hunt from mid December to the 1st. Many people call it a rut hunt but my experience has been it’s a pre rut hunt. In some years and areas you can catch rutting towards the end. 
unit 42 is closed to bow hunting in December but you can hunt it with a bow under the muzzy tag. That’s the plan

Congrats on the tag. I thought about putting in for it with 10points but I opted out for a strip tag. I even had a custom muzzy built tht will shoot 500yds+.
