oz31p Report post Posted June 28, 2020 I know we’ve talked about this before. I feel crazy even typing this but I heard a a wolf howl this morning in 5bs. I had a witness, unfortunately she’s 12. And about 5 years ago I swear I saw one at long lake. I was able to look at it’s tracks after it crossed the road info of me. It was bigger than my plam

jknister Report post Posted June 28, 2020 My daughter and I think we saw one in the southeast section of 6A (not far from 5BS) a few years back. We had been calling back and forth with a turkey when it suddenly shut up. We stalked up to where it was and thats when we saw the mystery animal. It was gone in a flash. Bigger than a coyote, definitely not a deer, elk, turkey, etc. Maybe could have been a bear but I dont think so. Only thing left was it was a wolf. But who knows, it was definitely something dark, big, and fast.

knothead Report post Posted June 28, 2020 I'm pretty sure all you guys are only seeing large coyotes. You are not allowed to shoot wolves but you can shoot coyotes of all sizes and color schemes. I also recommend you take no pictures and keep all the memories quietly to yourself in your head.

Talked to a guy supposedly saw one cross the highway right at the casino when he was leaving payson early one morning. Hes not a hunter though so he could be mistaken.
