Good point. It’s actually one of the hardest to get out of.  Short of dying there’s no way out of them unless you do income based and just don’t make any money, which would be the case if he got a professional degree but then couldn’t get a license to practice.  I’m guessing he’s gonna be a dental mangenist, or maybe a surgical mansistant for a surgeon.

This is true. To get my professional license I had to be able to document EVERY contact with law enforcement, and provide all records for any civil citation (including speeding tickets) going back 10 years.  Even when downgraded to a misdemeanor, it is going to cause him problems if and when he wants a license in the medical field.
