Just stumbled across these on what appears to be clearance at Lowes with Free shipping for $13 (normally $75). Picked up a couple of pairs. They are great for in the field protection. Ampifies your hearing while protecting your ears. Especially great if you have young hunters you need to be able to talk to while getting them ready for a shot.

Never used them! Figured they’d be great for communicating with my kids. I didn’t even think about it but they’re probably good for shooting guns too....

We started using them at the range and when hunting with my kids a few years ago. Great investment! Nice to be able to whisper to the kids and have them hear you. It can be hard and frustrating giving them directions with traditional ear plugs in while trying to not spook the animals.

I think it also helps kids not talk too loud when wearing them since they can hear ambient sound
