Online Apps

Recommended Posts

Same number of "Riff-Raff" in the hills whether apps are paper or online. I remember all the "Sky is falling!!" crud from my buddies when they started the online apps. We pulled a lot of our best tags during that time and we still found the same amount of idiots in the field as we always had. Application numbers never did skyrocket as predicted. I wouldn't be too much against paying upfront for tags online except I don't like giving Game and Fish my thousands of dollars for 1-2 months so they can earn interest and I can't. Worst thing about the online process in my opinion was when the contractors screwed up the draw and extra tags had to be issued. Then again those were tags I am never going to get anyway; so again no harm no foul. The "Increased Opportunity" credo is a far bigger demon to battle than the online application process, in my opinion.

The "riff-raff" per say will apply every year paper apps or online, the ones who miss out are the new hunters or the borderline hunters and I don't want to call them "riff-raff" or "idiots", they may be ignorant, but they are not the "idiots" we think they are, and after a few years of applying and hunting they are learning and with us, the real "idiots" in the field the same ones that are there every year paper, online, cash, or credit, those guys will still be there.

What? You don't like the guys that party all night with the boom box cranked up until 2:00 a.m and then they stumble out of bed at 9:00a.m bleary eyed and grab another beer and jump on their quads and rip up and down every cowpath and sand wash they can find, leaving a trail of budweiser cans in their wake,,then back to camp to head to town for a beer run with gun barrels poking out the windows, then back out in the afternoon to spend a few bleary eyed moments behind a pair of $29.95 Bushnell's ( purchased at the local Wal-mart) meanwhile, looking up the side of a mountain that they would never think of climbing anyway because that would mean getting off the quad and being away from the beer cooler for too long. Where are we going to hunt next year Bubba??

What part of there is no difference do we not understand?

The riff raff will alway's be there and the ones who can not find enough spit to seal the envelpoes will still be there!!!(they will borrow some from someone else) :o

I for one do not give a rats butt because my family of 5 will put in either way because we are hunters. Online is just

more to my liking.

Do we actually think that the riff raff will disapear because they can use the internet???? Just look younghunter and Casey knows how to use one :o

Troy (everyone) you are right, there will aways be those (Hunters??)

Because it is a get away for them and they have enjoyed it for years.

Every year, another one from that group is going to say,

Dude  I just aint got the extra cash this time.

That will start to break down those groups.

Hunting in Az it getting pretty pricey and I do not have a REAL big problem with that.

If we continue to have to put the funds up front than the guys that put in on a whem (Bill?)

Will stop putting in :o

INCREASE OPPORTUNITY FOR HUNTERS

I have nothing bad to say about out of state hunters

But you local out of stater's should agree with me even more.

This will increase your chances more than residents
