160 E. Commonwealth Ave. This Armoury was torn down and the one on Cooper and Germann replaced it.

I was in Service Battery in Mesa, never went to the Chandler or Tempe Batterys.

Once to B Battery in Casa Grand.

most saturday mornings all us kids from desert sage would line up along main street in front of the a&w root beer stand.  we would wave and jump around when the "tanks" came by on the way to florence on flatbeds.  just 105's and maybe 155 howitzers but we sure wanted to go along

I remember that place as a kid. It was always a highlight for the origninal ostrich fest (and the rest of them) when they would roll a tank out front for us kids to climb on
