nateNAU Report post Posted April 30, 2020 Very cool. You should post about your build as it goes. I am also about to try my hand at building my first bow. Just picked out a nice peice of seasoned rocky mountain juniper that I plan on backing with rawhide.
PhxDT Report post Posted April 30, 2020 Happy to post along the way- no problem. Making two long bows with maple using drywall fiberglass tape on it as well. Early on in process. Need a project for the boys to do.
Bucks&bulls Report post Posted April 30, 2020 Good deal on the tool loan from MULEPACKHUNTER. I saw this thread last night and did some searching for a drawknife. If you decide you want your own, Rockler has a Two Cherries drawknife on their website for $69.99. If it is comparable quality to the Two Cherries chisels I have used it would be a good buy.
