knothead Report post Posted April 21, 2020 I have never hunted spring turkey in 27 before but I spend time there every year usually in late May or early June. I can honestly say I can't ever remember not seeing turkeys there. The birds are everywhere and I believe the 2011 Wallow fire has done nothing but good things for all the wildlife in unit 27 & 1.
