We stopped a couple of weeks ago to get a similar photo of that bachelor batch.........they calmly watched as I walked up to the fence.......pretty cool site and you got way better pictures

They’re very cooperative, we walked right up to them like 60 yards. My friend had never seen a Rocky before.

Took this picture of them last Saturday just a mile down the road from the refuse station. Grazing right along the side of the road with no care whatsoever of vehicles or people. Right after I snapped the picture another vehicle went zipping by and they didn't even flinch.

They claim that they give one ram tag for every 4 class 4 rams in the unit

makes sense. when i got drawn there was 10 tags in 15bw where i was. 40 class 4 rams, interesting.

They are much less skittish that Deserts! 

I have had them stand across a dirt road for pics.  It took them over an hour to walk a couple of hundred yards to check out the trailer when the got that close but they stayed for a photoshoot in 23.

in 2000 me and my dad were on the black river fishing and saw a heard of rams. was the first rockys id ever seen i thought it was so cool. that year i put him in for rocky, he got drawn.
