If you filed in 2018 or 2019 they use your direct deposit info from that filing. If not, there’s a site to give them your info so you don’t have to wait for a paper check to not find you. 
 

I think this site has links to check your status and to update your info if you didn’t file in 2018-2019.

If you paid by bank draft I think they use the same account. Otherwise yeah you might have to update your info so they can deposit.
