desert bucks not shedding yet...

One of my neighbors took this picture on Sunday of a muley buck that keeps hanging out under an ironwood right behind his wall.  Judging by the pic, is he a 2x2, 3x2? Can't really tell.  Will be a really nice buck this coming season.

Saw a buck with one side last week in a border unit. Most go in April here though.

Heck, in the past 7 days I've seen two rutting frenzies of coues deer bucks on a doe, both sets of bucks had a 90"+ buck with them. 

Makes shedding season seem really far away...

Took these yesterday.  It is a buck I have seen 4 times in the past month.  I am very surprised he is still alive.  Mean wound that is healing on his front left shoulder, but badly broken shoulder that is just flopping around.  I doubt he will survive the lions up there over the summer and make it to next fall.
