elksave Report post Posted March 9, 2020 Hey guys I have won the lottery and drew my first antelope tag unit 7. I have hunted 7W for elk but never for antelope. I would appreciate any feedback on where I should concentrate my scouting trips. And good luck to all of the antelope hunters for 2020.
DUG Report post Posted March 9, 2020 Lots of antelope in the trees. My last one was shot 1/2 mile from an open area in heavy cover. Get up on a knob or hill and glass. They are usually active all day.

Lmute Report post Posted June 6, 2020 We had a late season elk unit in 7w in 2019. We saw a herd of about 50-75 south of the 180 between red mountain and ebert mountain. They seem to like to cross the 180. We also saw another 20 or so from smith tank (just off red hill road) looking NE towards juniper ridge. They were on the edge of the junipers along flats working their way up a hill . Not sure this will help because of how they move between winter and summer grounds. Get set up with some good optics and spend the time glassing. I was lucky enough to get an archery antelope tag for unit 10. I’m also on the same research campaign. Best of luck!
