azryan Report post Posted May 18, 2008 Shot this bird this morning. Got out to one of the spots I know they had been roosting. I just got lucky they were in there this morning. I hiked out to the ledge let out a few loud yelps with the mouth call and sure enough I got three toms to gobble. I setup had them come right to me. I ended up with my first turkey. I was happy to be able to share the experience with my dad. It was a very tough hunt this year. I had only heard one gobble out of the four days I hunted prior to today.
