W250 Report post Posted February 16, 2020 My youngest son is graduating this year and has decided he wants to go kill some hogs. I’ve been looking at a pile of different places and talking to a few different guys but was wondering if any of you have had any luck with places in Texas or closer to home that you would recommend that won’t break the bank. A full ride to a university sure helps a lot but it’s still expensive as heck!!!
PRDATR Report post Posted February 16, 2020 There are a few Hog Hunting Facebook pages. I would start there, just avoid Independance Ranch and read reviews. Prices vary a lot.

Ed67 Report post Posted February 16, 2020 Dos Plumas near Sweetwater Texas is great. I just did a 3 day hunt there and killed three hogs. You can hunt bow or rifle. I highly recommend them.
nvmulie Report post Posted February 21, 2020 I would agree with Ed67, my buddy and I hunted on the Dos Plumas ranch last year and before we left we reserved for the this year. We will be hunting it next weekend, pricing is good, accommodations are comfortable, and there are plenty of hogs to choose from.
