cohntr6 Report post Posted February 2, 2020 Looks like a mature lion from the other day (time stamp is correct). Guess I better get a tag and be prepared. Other pictures are older but from the same camera location, I wonder if it is the same lion. Jeff
mattys281 Report post Posted February 2, 2020 3rd pic down looks like a much slimmer cat to me, maybe a female or youngster. I think you have a couple different cats there.
cohntr6 Report post Posted February 2, 2020 Definitely could be different lions. It has almost been 3 years since the last one strolled by my camera and I just wonder if it "grew up". Although the most recent picture looks like a male. Wish it put its tail up walking away from the camera. LOL Jeff
pwrguy Report post Posted February 2, 2020 That first one definitely looks like a big cat!!
recurveman Report post Posted February 3, 2020 Well that is cool. Probably a young male. I would expect a female to have kittens with her. Get a tag and try to make it happen. They typically don't travel long distances all at once but can have a bigger range. When I target lions I like to know that a lion is in the area before I start calling. You have a prime candidate there.
