I may be wrong but I believe the coues tag went for 22k, the mule deer tag went for 122k ? and I know the san carlos hunt went for 3k. the Mexifari hunt went for 3750 I believe also. It was a good night alot of stuff went for good money and the ADA raised a good amount of money for wildlife.

The special WT tag went for $24,000 and the Mulie went for $126,000.

And younghunter is right about the rest. And in addition, Foundryman's two bronzes went for $1800 (for the nontypical mulie) and $1100 (for the fullbody WT). And Rembrant's original antelope pastel went for $1800. Wow, what a lot of talent we have represented here! And very generous donations!! Thank you so much!

It was a fun night with tons going on. I believe several at our table won some guns. And Ajohunter won the San Carlos hunt! Woo-hooo!! Maybe I will get to tag along!

Amanda

P.S. Allen thanks for your help in the morning, it sure made things go easier. I thought you were coming back in the evening....but thanks for the time you were able to give us!

It was a great time for sure. Even the prime rib at our table was all pretty good.

AZBowhntr and I will be going on a 1/2 day glassing deal with Duwayne that I won at the silent auction. I was hoping it would bring in more $ but no one bid it up. We all did notice people were not spending as much as in previous years.

The Alaskan brown bear hunt auctioned off for about half of what it went for last year. It sold for $9000.

The African hunt sold for UNDER $1000

Costa Rican fishing package for $1300

Texas wild boar hunt $1000

Amanda, that Costa Rican Eco tour went for $800. If you want it, it's yours for $700. The guy that won it swung by the CW table letting us know. He thought it was a fishing trip not a spa trip...OUCH!

Some things did pull in some decent cash like the bronze sculptures.

The toy John Deere Gator went for $1400

Mule deer skull cap B&C 209 6/8 went for $2000

Christensen Arms 300 ultra $3100

All in all a grand time. It was nice to sit with some great peeps! :P

Sounds like a good time had by all and the wildlife will have additional funds for water projects, habitat improvement etc. Amanda, my intentions were to come back, but both my sons could not make it and Kerri was sick, so I stayed home and helped her out............sure wish I could have bid on some of the silent auction items, there were some great ones...........the Slick tripod with Jim White head was one I was looking at (I already have both, but I bet someone got a good deal on it) How about the double bull blind? I have one already, but an extra one wouldnt hurt.........LOL..........

Hey Chef,

If you can, tell the guy that got the costa rican eco tour/spa package that it is offered by the same company that does the fishing trip he was hoping to bid on. And that he can upgrade to the fishing package. So he may just want to call and tell the outfitter the story and see what they can do for him. I think I remember Brad (the auction chairman) saying this was an outstanding fishing trip. So, he really should look into it if he wants to go....

As always the wife and I had a great time and I really enjoyed the company. As Chef said the food was good and younghunter and ajohunter finaly broke the curse and won some guns. We got into the spirit of things when ajohunter won the San Carlos tag....we were really pulling for him and it worked out great.

Thanks to everyone who shared our night, we'll see you next year.

Phil

P.S.

That little shed that Amanda had that Foundryman created was really cool so I am with ajohunter on that and vote for posting a pic.

I also had a great time. It was great meeting some of the group even though I don't post that much here. I had to leave a little early and I hear later that everyone at the table started winning guns left and right. Guess I must of been the bad luck. But at least I got my tripod and head. Alan, it would have been nice to see you there.

A big thanks to all who showed up to support the ADA and part with their hard earned cash on behalf of AZ deer herds.

Muchas Gracias

I also won my first raffle item, I think it's a Rem. 270WSM.

Chef, let me know when you are doing the glassing seminar and I would love to join in. Duwane is the king of glassing and you will really really learn alot of tips/techniques for all kinds of glassing. People sometimes dont modify their technique/style for the types of terrain and therefore dont have the same success. Example is the east side of the Kaibab is different than glassing on the west. Anyway, I wont ramble, either you or Duwane call me and let me know when you are going and I would love to hook up..............Thanks to all who participated in the Banquet, the animals really appreciate it as well...............Allen....................
