Couesnut Report post Posted January 3, 2020 What are you guys using to keep the fingers warm while being exposed during glassing adjustments ? I've been working on this forever. Still cold
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted January 3, 2020 I bought a pair of $15 gloves from Amazon before my 5b elk tag. Temps were teens and below, with a foot + of snow on the ground. Fingers NEVER got cold. Brand is "hot shot". I was super impressed. Ive used ~$50 gloves before, and $10 gloves before and personally, I've ALWAYS liked the cheaper gloves better. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XYSJL5M?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Viper Report post Posted January 3, 2020 The Hot Shots come up on Camofire now and then. I haven't tried them. I like the heavy wool knit "half finger" with the fold over mitten. I can wear a merino wool liner glove under, if necessary. A hand warmer pack slid into the glove also helps.
Big Tub Report post Posted January 3, 2020 My buddy has the mitt version that uses the packets that worked great. I ordered mine today.

azrcks Report post Posted January 22, 2020 Kuiu down mittens. Had them for 3 years now. This is exactly what they are made for. My buddy bought the down Outdoor Research ones as well. Just as good.
