We usually hunt 27 but the ranch we hunt behind got a new owner and ever since he bot it he just lets his pack of muts run behind the ranch and is scaring off all the game. It is hard enough to learn one unit at a time and you can only hunt one unit at a time..... soooo.... Pick one, git out there, and Git after it! I, personally, think that a guy ought to not give up on a spot that he has hunted for years.... those birds are still there somewhere..... or were pushed somewhere not too far off.... CnS Well kinda sorta I was looking at areas I could scout for the before the season started I was looking at these units because they are close and 22 I will be hunting elk and 6a I might be hunting deer. All the yard birds in those units have moved on to greener pastures.... I'd stick with 27... or if you Really want to see Huge numbers of yard birds.... 12A has more than a guy can handle.....
