cmille308 Report post Posted November 22, 2019 there has been quite a bit of rainfall throughout the state this week! With the cooler temps and rainfall hopefully the sheep will be up and feeding throughout the day! Good luck everyone! Can't wait to see some pics!

1uglydude Report post Posted November 26, 2019 Heading out early Friday morning. The portion of the unit with the target ram has had almost zero rain since March. It got half and inch last week and more is in the forecast. Hoping it doesn't make him move too far.
CouesPursuit Report post Posted November 26, 2019 Good luck, dude! Sheep in my unit were clinging tight to water and shade all the way prior to that last storm 10 days ago. It is going to be interesting to see how the rams disperse but at a minimum, it may allow them to get down out of the steep crags and into some archery conducive areas. We shall see. AZBIG10 Report post Posted November 26, 2019 Same for coues! I almost sat water in November because they weren’t wandering too far from water. Now they are dispersed a bit. Hope the rain continues for them

Heat Report post Posted November 26, 2019 CouesPursuit...Keep tabs on that dude, he's NICE! What you are saying is very true! Lots of guys get all these pics of rams on water and think they have it all figured out until the weather cools and we get some moisture. Then its a whole new ballgame. Find the feed and you will find some rams. Don't overlook the foothill areas at the base of mountains. The way older, played out rams are like an old man or an old dog. They can still do stuff, but they would rather not, in this case this means climb the hill. They would prefer to be on easy street.
1uglydude Report post Posted November 27, 2019 With the added water and feed, our target ram has about 45 square miles of rugged country he can disappear into. Fingers crossed. 9
