idgaf Report post Posted November 21, 2019 The story ends as a Greek tragedy. We get there and the ground is covered with a layer of snow. We search until the beginning stages of hypothermia set in and then I call it. I can only figure that the arrow didn't penetrate enough to get the second lung. The arrow it looked couldn't be better placed if I did it with my hand. I'll look again tomorrow and again on Saturday The conditions we were searching in Oh it was the bull with big fronts on the far right

Delw Report post Posted November 21, 2019 That sucks man, If I didnt have so much work right now I would drive up there and help you out. Keep us posted please. think one of your buddies with the dogs could find it? I dont think it went to far, I am guessing its in the same general area(within a mile but thats alot of ground to cover looking for a dead or near dead critter).. more than likely dead or very close to. from day one those elk didnt move that much so hes there. if you didnt see any blood signs in the snow that's what I am figuring.
