My Mexican laborers thought so poorly of me and their treatment, I was tortured and murdered, run thru with a mining drill and thrown down a shaft.

Only my brother in law and the camp cook were spared. My brother in law was at Camp Crittendon on a supply run, the cook taken hostage to Mexico.

Arizona lists the San Xavier mission, and the cabin at Ft. Misery, as the two oldest standing structures in Az. That threw me off a bit in my search. 😆
