Who is This

He was born in California, moved to AZ. Was involved in law enforcement. Not to much is written about him.

It had me guessing a bit because he was actually born in Mexico, not CA where he did grow up, however.

Accounts of birth places, deaths, years not too reliable back then.

Just like Wickenburg being in the Walker Party. Some accounts have him there, others do not.

I've found accounts of Garfias born anywhere from 1847-51 and MEX or CA.

Birth place confusion is probably because CA wasn't a state when he was born but still part of Mexico. He was supposedly born in 1849, a year before CA became a state.

Yeah I considered that too. 

The cemetery he's buried in.has been on the news. Isn't that 13Ave and Jefferson?

Years before that he was elected as a city constable. and did that for 3 years for the becoming the marshal.
