Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted April 17, 2008 First choice for the wife would be Mexican food.....but a good steak is always worth some brownie points. Where is Mackys??? We always just fly through Payson with a stop at Sonic for a drink, all we ever see is what is on the main drag there.....I used to take wrestlers to Denny's after weigh ins....but that definitely won't fly with the wife....... El Rancho, just before the big gold 'M' on the left or La Sierra, the north side of town at the stop light of Hwy87 and Forest..... I do not like giving out my honey hole areas anyways. Its like a good coues spot you should just keep your mouth shut about it or everyone will go and eat there and then the wait will be to long. I would ask for Gamehauler's daughter's tables. I might be a little prejudiced because I've hunted with her and for a good tip she might even give you back a good huntin tip of the day.
