I have always wanted to do a trip like that but just never seem to find the time or anyone else that wants to go. Bear or no bear that piece of country looks like it has a ton of cool stuff to see and hunt! Great write-up and great pics! Thanks for posting and congrats! elkman Report post Posted April 9, 2008 now that we are on the spring bear topic. Has anyone been on the sanc carlos looking aroung. Any bear yet. I am going up this weekend. azhuntnut Report post Posted April 9, 2008 This hunt sounds just like the two seperate years I went on spring hunts. You do alot of walking and glassing, but seldom see a bear. Packer Report post Posted April 9, 2008 Thanks for the replys all, ya it was an awesome trip. We were in 32. I think that if we were a week later we would have been better off but since I only could make one trip and with all the planning I didn't want to make it too late as there is always the chance the hunt will close with a single sow quota.
