rossislider Report post Posted September 7, 2019 My son and I have a couple of back to back elk hunts starting next Friday up in the Show Low area. In a perfect world I would shoot mine, bring it home, process it, and be back up in time for his opener. But with the way things could lining up, there is a possibility that I may need to store mine for a period, and I like to be prepared for all possibilities. I do have several jumbo coolers, so I can store it on ice, but I have found that I really don't like to keep a lot of meat in coolers for more than a few days. I am curious what refrigerated facilities may be available in the area? I am not looking for processing, I will do all of that myself. I have spoken with Miller's who will have their cold trailer in Forest Lakes. That may be an option, though not ideal. Any ideas? Thanks
BOHNTR Report post Posted September 7, 2019 There’s a processor on Porter Mountain Road that I’ve heard will store meat for a fee.
