swishjth Report post Posted April 8, 2008 If anybody really wants to do the math, here are the ADOT specifications for the sign. Elk Warning Sign Once you deterine the size of the sign (36" or 48"), you maybe able to make some assumptions on the dimensions in the graphic...and then scale up to a typical/well known dimension on an average bull to determine its score. I am way too lazy. Good Luck.
GameHauler Report post Posted April 8, 2008 I have pondered this question for quite some time. And i guess there isnt really much way to tell for sure. But has anyone ever wondered what the Bull on the yellow elk crossing/warning signs would score? Wow, the things you guys wonder about.....now I can never look at one of those signs the same again. You guys crack me up!! Amanda My thoughts Also Amanda You folks need to get out more. Heck, a trip to the Park to watch the Ducks may go a long way. Next we will have tape measures taped to the front of signs rather than blue hands painted on the back.
Lance Report post Posted April 8, 2008 How about the buck on the deer crossing signs? It is a whitetail if im not mistaken! Any guess on score for it? Don't know the score on that one but he's got to be a gamey old tough thing! He's been around forever and he's always hoppin around on his hind end like that. coueschaser3 Report post Posted April 9, 2008 Hey i gotta occupy my time somehow, im gonna get someone really good with numbers to figure this out. Problem is the bull is quartering away pretty steep so thats gonna throw some more math in. If folks could see what goes on in my head i think most would stay away from me, theres scary stuff up there! But thats what happens on long drives at night in elk country surviving on coffee alone
