Rifle man Report post Posted August 21, 2019 Hello all Putting this up Up for sale Is my. Howa model 1500 bolt action rifle chambered in .223 Rem. Howa has been making fine rifles for decades for companies like Smith & Wesson, Interarms, and Weatherby. Howa is now currently importing their product under their own name. The barrel length on this one is 22”. The rifle has a checkered walnut stock with studs for a sling. The barrel and action are blued. This rifle holds 6 rounds of .223 plus one in the chamber. The rifle is drilled and tapped for a scope and comes with a set of two-piece Turn in Style Leupold Bases. This is a used rifle and it has been shot some, but the bore looks good. There are some handling marks here and there on the metal and wood. There are a few small scratches on the stock as shown in the pictures. There are also couple of small spots on the barrel. There is no box or paperwork. What you see is what you get. A nice rifle with a good tight lock up. This will make a good predator rifle. It will also serve as a light recoiling deer rifle. PRDATR Report post Posted August 22, 2019 I think you are about $200 high in price on a good day. Great action that has been around for a long time.
