ctafoya Report post Posted August 16, 2019 I'm putting together a couple of 300 Blackout pistols with 8.5" barrels. I'm going to load super and sub sonic. What are some good powders to try out? I picked up some 110 GN V-max and 110 gn Barnes TAC-TX. I haven't looked at anything yet for subsonic.
Couesdeer Report post Posted August 16, 2019 By Blackout has a 1-10 twist barrel, so I haven't tried to run any heavy bullets sub sonic. I do really like H110 with 125 gr bullets. It gave me the best velocity and accuracy of the three powders I tried.
MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted August 16, 2019 Your going to love shooting subsonic if you have it suppressed, just curious on the accuracy side, I would consider this round in a pistol style to be close quarters type set up so why worry about accuracy much? ctafoya Report post Posted August 20, 2019 Thanks for the info. Picked some powder, bullets, and cci#41's. Once my go no go gauges show up I'll get to testing this out. Just got the first one finished up. Definitely a close quarters build.
