PRDATR Report post Posted August 15, 2019 I received a Monthly Newsletter and in it they said that due to some recent fires at the range (very dry conditions) they are enforcing the ban on Steel Core ammo and the Range Officers will be using magnets to check shooters ammo. CouesPursuit Report post Posted August 15, 2019 Yup. I had to open several boxes of reloads and they went through every one. They also have 200 closed. Rain, please rain.
rossislider Report post Posted August 15, 2019 I ran into the 200 range issue this weekend. I wanted to go out and zero my rifles at 200, but found out that 100 is the max until we get some moisture. My hunt starts 9/13 so I have a little time. But if they don't open the 200 range in the next few weeks, I may have to head to Ben Avery or somewhere else. This monsoon SUCKS!!! cjl2010 Report post Posted August 15, 2019 Do you use a turret? You have multiple rifles that do this? how has your terminal performance been using bullets with an SG less than 1.5?
