10Turkeys Report post Posted July 28, 2019 Since that other .280 went fairly quick, let's try this one. Remington 700 Mountain Rifle in .280 Rem. 22 inch barrel. I bought this gun used, so the round count is unknown. I have around 60-70 rounds down the tube, bedded, trigger job. Disclaimer- this gun shoots lights out the first two shots, they are often touching, but with the pencil thin barrel, the third shot usually opens up. The gun is near perfect other than the foreend tip. The group pictured is the best 3 shot group that I was able to get.
