rigutierrez Report post Posted November 6, 2004 By The way guys ive done some scouting by elephant head and up the forset road taking you up to the kmsb anttenas. I was there about three years ago with a coues tag and my cousin got a nice buck off a road that stated 4x4 only just west of the kmsb road, south off the road that takes you up to the observetory. The road take you towards Patagonia. Just want to hear any stories no need to tell your hot spot or anything just wanna get my hopes up. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
azpackhorse Report post Posted November 6, 2004 That is Agua Caliente canyon, I have taken a nice coues in there before and used to hunt it often. Walk the road up past the antenna and glass back north and south from the saddle east of the antenna, you will see bucks. I have also seen quite a few bears in there as well. rigutierrez Report post Posted November 6, 2004 Thanks for the info! I did not go up towards the north. I instead headed south almost towards the enterance of the road by some bike path. I followed some does around last Monday and they ended up crossing the road towards a water hole south of the observetory road.
