broadhead Report post Posted July 13, 2019 This might be a stupid question but last time I was at the range I went to chamber a round and didn’t notice it wasn’t seated quite right in the magazine. When I pushed the bolt forward the round jumped up and was pinched between the bolt and the ejection port, making a very small dent. Just wanted to make sure it’s still okay to shoot before I tried to send it down the barrel. I haven’t checked to see if it seats in the chamber yet but I can’t imagine it wouldn’t from such a small ding. Just below the shoulder toward the right side in the pic. Thanks! recurveman Report post Posted July 15, 2019 When we develop some wild cat loads we have dented brass all the time. Much, much worse that the one you have a pic of. 50,000 PSI will make the brass conform to your chamber specs.
