BeardownAZ Report post Posted July 13, 2019 Ok no hiding it, I love to eat. When I go anywhere, were I’m/ we are eating is a huge part of the trip planning. I’ll be in the Show Low/ Pinetop area for 4 days soon and want to know what food joints everyone likes up there. Mexican, pizza, steakhouse, etc. all of it. BOHNTR Report post Posted July 13, 2019 Try the new place with a culinary chef......Mr. Zekes. Great food. Darby’s has had terrible customer service lately.....but good food. Red devil in Pinetop has pretty darn good italian food.......and of course Grumpy Jakes for smoked BBQ
Lucafu1 Report post Posted July 13, 2019 I have a buddy there playing softball. I was there a couple of weeks ago. Darbis is pretty good. Check out Charley Clarks......they might have a 24oz ribeye for $30. I ordered one last time I was there but they had just ran out......I was pretty depressed LOL. Northern Pintail Report post Posted July 13, 2019 Charlie Clark’s is over rated. Red devil and casino are ok. All Mexican places are over rated. Native is expensive. Nothing great

rcdinaz Report post Posted July 13, 2019 you pretty much got 'em all. Darbi's, Red Devil, had a good burger at Mr Zekes I really like La Vie for breakfast, some may think it is to Yuppie with quiche and such, but the food is great. Baked in Pinetop for a great bakery Eddie's, walk up window in the grocery store for BBQ or a burger on the go. Not a destination but good if you are on the go. If you go through Taylor the pie at Trappers is some of the best I have had anywhere.
