bowhuntinmaniac Report post Posted March 23, 2008 Jason, I have 1 dozen of the pink arrows and took my javelina in January with 1. In fact, I have decided to use only pink arrows for my hunts this year. It is amazing the numbers of times I get asked why I have pink arrows in my quiver. It is a worthwhile project and this is a great way to educate people.

bowhuntinmaniac Report post Posted March 24, 2008 Yeah, no prob....any kind of publicity for this is good. The word I got was, they want to count it for all kinds of cancer and Victory has stepped up to help educate plus donating to help find a cure.
bowhuntinmaniac Report post Posted March 26, 2008 Hey Jason, Notice how pathetic and selfish these people are here? Over 200 hits to yer thread and no responses besides us......it seems like bowhunters always want to help, but I guess they just want to help themselves and don't care about the others. (See if that will get a rise out of any of them)
Coues 'n' Sheep Report post Posted March 26, 2008 Sorry fellers.... I ain't shootin' no pink arrows.... Maybe the wife would, but I don't know....
BML Report post Posted March 26, 2008 Stupid question here, What brand arrows are they? Or, are they any brand that you already shoot, but dipped? I think this is a great idea and I am all for doing it, but just need to get some more info on the actual arrows.
BML Report post Posted March 26, 2008 ...ooops, Just found it on the link. Garth, What do you think about the arrows? They shoot well?
jamaro Report post Posted March 26, 2008 Thanks Garth... They are made by Victory Archery... They are great arrows... Give them a test run. J-
bowhuntinmaniac Report post Posted March 26, 2008 No prob Jason. These arrows shoot great, and come in different sizes just like any other carbon. Pink arrows wont hurt yer image, in fact it may help, when people realize why you are shooting them. I am taking them to TX next week on my hunt, and maybe I will give some away to those that ask, "why in the he!! are you shooting pink arrows?!"
BML Report post Posted March 26, 2008 Yeah, I am not worried about my image. I think this is a great idea and more people should get involved with it. Heck, at least get some pink vanes!! When I bought my Trykon last year I went to both my local archery shops to get pink blazer vanes. Neither of them had any and both told me that Bohning didn't make pink. If I don't go with the Victory arrows, I am going to get the pink vanes. According to that link, Bohning does make them. Have fun in Texas!
azhunter23 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 What a great cause. ( just wondering how much of the money is donated) Tragically this hits home. My wifes mother lost her battle around Thanksgiving. I have decided that I will order these for this fall. I shoot gold tip xt hunters and would like to continue shooting them but if I cant will they figure out what arrow matches these. Also those that have ordered them what is the turn around on how quickly you get them. Thanks
bowhuntinmaniac Report post Posted March 27, 2008 If I remember right, the company is based in San Diego. They may have a website where you can get the right arrows, if nothing else, call them. They are very helpful. Sorry to hear about yer mom in law.
