Couestracker Report post Posted March 19, 2008 I thought the intent of going with the earlier draw was to aid in other fall hunt planning. The Wyoming deadline is already passed (Mar 15), Colorado's deadline is April 1 and New Mexico's deadline is April 9. I sure hope to find out what Az hunts I'm drawn for prior to Co and NM! Red Rabbit Report post Posted March 19, 2008 CT, IIRC, the main reason for the earlier AZ elk and antelope draw was to allow time for successful permittees to put in for vacation and scout some before the archery antelope hunts began in late Aug and the elk in Sept.
