Bryson Bendall Report post Posted March 13, 2008 Well after work I had a little time before dark so... of course i went out. Took the 12 yr. old little bro and headed out real quick. First stand was a good one, however the wind was wrong (maybe that makes it a bad stand), anyway nothing came. so we hustled back to the truck and set up on the opposite side of the road that we had just called, and set up on a small ridge. well about ten minutes into some jack rabbit distress on, once again, tony's fantastic cow horn tip i hear some howling behind us, a ways off. Suddenly i catch movement at about 300 yards and see a coyote, and in a flash it's gone. So i move the gun, get set up and BOOM there she is skylined at about 150 yards. So i get her in the scope, and she dips behind the rise, so i take my eye off of the scope and see another, bigger male farther up the ridge, settle the crosshairs on him, lip squeek to stop him, and BOOM...D-R-T. woohoo, his little lady got out in a flash. The setting sun made for some really great pics.
