akuritone Report post Posted March 13, 2008 Here is my relaoding bench. Was simple to build but a pain to get it in the closet assembled. Works great and allows me to be as clutter free as possible. And here is why my wife likes it..... I used one of these which is probably unnecessary but it sure made it easy. I also put laminate on the top so it would be easy to clean. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=207081 Works good for me.. Jeff

BowNut Report post Posted March 14, 2008 No I don't drink the Bacardi that is on the bench while I reload!!!!! That bottle is about 2 years old I forgot it was in there until I saw it in the pic. Your just missing a can of Cope and you'd be the Real ATF!!!! Hey how did you know I was a Cope guy!!! I bet if I dig out the trash can from under the bench there are a couple empty Cope cans in there.

GameHauler Report post Posted March 15, 2008 Welcome Jeffcros and thanks for sharing. Yours is the only bench I have seen made out of metal. Is there a reason no one has used metal other than not being a weldor? Thanks everyone else also for some good ideas. keep them coming.

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted March 15, 2008 Mike, the last sentence still holds true. How ever, metal is very strong, and you dont have to worry about the wood breaking!
GameHauler Report post Posted March 15, 2008 Mike, the last sentence still holds true. How ever, metal is very strong, and you dont have to worry about the wood breaking! So, There is no reason not to use metal if I wish? I already have an extra metal bench apx. 30"X60". Was thinking about putting a Sheet of Plywood on it and coating it with poly urethane. firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted March 16, 2008 No advntage other than thats what ya want. like i said, you dont have to worry about breaking the metal when you crank on the press when re-sizing the brass like you do with wood.
