I can only imagine that someone in the Cabela's TAGS department will probably be losing their job.

Using a private courier the day before the deadline is folly. How many times has FEDEX screwed up and delivered next day parcels late?

I have experienced that a couple times myself from Cabela's, paid for next day air and got it 3 days later

They made a big gamble with 568 applications and paid the price! Now they have alot of angry customers to deal with.

They also spent 9000.00 dollars on a leer jet to get the package to phoenix, they were delayed in Denver. When I say they I am pretty sure it was UPS, I think all Cabelas will have to reimburse is their application fee that the TAGS program charges, because AZGFD did not charge them anything, I don't think.

Maybe cabelas can get O.J. Simpson to do commercials for them if this is allowed, kind of like his old commercials, running throught he airport, jumping over stuff, then handing the box over to a Game and Fish rep., the box will have Cabelas TAGS written on it.

I have a feeling Casey was telling a fish story about the scale.

Nope. true story. It will go in the trash.

I guess that I will rewrite my comment that I deleted; that throwing away something that you know you can get credit on is totally idiotic.

It was UPS and they used another company for the leer I believe, but I think by the time they had contracted them it may have been too late, from what was explained from Cabelas and UPS they tried like heck to get them in on time, they just waited until the last minute to do it, they both had representatives there to plead their case.

Not sure if you know what boycotting is or not....

Why would I want credit at a place I no longer choose to spend my money?

I just Email a thanks to the Commission

Again Thank You to the Commission and to the AZGFD.

Good job. I also want to say Thank You to the Commission and to the AZGFD.

I agree, thanks. But it's kind of pitiful that we have to be so thankful that G&F follows their own rules.

I don't think any thanks is needed, If you really think about it, it was the only safe decision to be made and now it's a dead issue.
