CouesWhitetail Report post Posted March 11, 2008 Maybe Grong orange only comes out when it gets hot out? It's been a long time since we have seen him in "the colors". Amanda
GRONG Report post Posted March 12, 2008 Oh now that's just way funny!!! Actually had I been wearing the GRONG ORANGE I would've found his last set of sheds too dammit! I didn't even have my video camera with me that day. That hurts just as bad............
GRONG Report post Posted March 12, 2008 Josh that thing is a monster!!! Is that 2 pickups that you have found that are over 130 now?! Keep it up man! Yes Christian you are correct. Found my big typical 4pt buck back in '99 and it grosses 132 0/8", this one just 3/4 of an inch higher. Man I hope it's not my last but if it is that's ok too I guess as I've been very blessed to find what I have.

Can't wait to see the rack on a shoulder mount one of these days. On a bronze, that'd be AWESOME!!! Josh That thing is unreal! That would be a good buck to scale down and do a bronze sculpture of. CONGRATS!!>>Jason

GRONG Report post Posted February 15, 2009 Ya my heart stopped and my ability to speak stopped too. Was trying to call my buddy Gail on the radio and it was all just a bunch of mumbling and studdering, nearly incomprehendable. I was shaking and nervous as if I'd just shot the thing myself. Truly and awesome experience.........
AZantlerhead Report post Posted February 15, 2009 Right on, Maybe I could tag along with you some day. I'm the same way, When I finally found a nice elk head last year I dropped to my knees and felt that same rush, it took me forever to find one. I'd be happy to show you some country as well. I'll pm you this march maybe we could make an outing. It would be one for the allbums for sure! For me it would be like playing catch with a Star Quarterback. I'm really wanting to find a big ol' couesy head ! To be with someone who finds a big treasure is just as cool . Every hero needs a sidekick. PLLLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEE!! I got an orange shirt ready to go, Yeah, Ive been wearing the orange on some outings for a while, it hasn't hurt, that's for sure
GRONG Report post Posted February 20, 2009 Oh come now, it seems as if you find PLENTY of sheds without the luck of the GRONG. HAHAHA!!! "Every hero needs a sidekick", that was a good one my friend!! All my areas are picked pretty clean, I think, and am in need of newer areas so if you want to have me tag along that might-could get arranged. Although I don't like hiking to far from the truck, can't stand it actually. Oh and don't walk in front of me or you'll get a oak limb to the back of your neck...... HA!
