This what I learned on as well as my son. Full or modified for the chock and once they get good at it they will be able to work it almost as fast as a pump. The last plus to a single shot is the kids won’t burn through so much ammunition and teaches them shot placement and patience. Agreed. My daughter will learn to shoot on my savage 24 .22/.410 just like I did. When it comes time to hunt ducks or turkey though, I hope to have friends around that offer her an opportunity to shoulder/shoot a few and give her confidence in an exact model, then buy it. It leaves me wondering if there is a youth event where you could do the same? GL.
