awatson Report post Posted April 7, 2019 I took a gamble a while back and reserved a place in Greer for April 11-14th, assuming Big Lake would be opened up. With Big/Crescent inaccessible and iced up, it looks like the only options are Luna or Greer Lakes. The Greer lakes look so small that I wonder if they carry holdover fish. Never been to Luna. Any ideas on what would be a best bet in this situation?
thegunsmith2506 Report post Posted April 7, 2019 Luna use to have nice holdovers. I use to go the first week of May and troll flatfish or flies. Its been about 5 years since I have gone, but I bet its still pretty good. Nelson might be another good one to try.

tontotom Report post Posted April 8, 2019 All Greer Lakes, Luna Lake and Nelson Reservoir are all full and overflowing as of today. You should do well wherever you go.
