KoosCrazy Report post Posted April 13, 2019 32 minutes ago, AZ8 said: I’m 50 years old. These attacks on our freedoms have commenced less than 10 years ago. This new, younger generation is the catalyst. Unfortunately, it’s your generation that’s ruined hunting. You guys can’t piss in the woods without posting a status update on Instagram! Hunting and the outdoors was so much better before social media. It was shared with only those people that were important to us and not every Tom, Dick and Harry on Instagram or Facebook! We’d go out, kill a few coyotes, sit around the campfire and talk about the fun. And that’d be it! Fast forward to today, and every second of every day HAS to be posted on Facebook or Instagram so you poor snowflakes can get some instant gratification or base your self-worth on others’ opinions. If guys would just go out, kill some coyotes and STFU, this wouldn’t be an issue. Sorry, but that’s the truth. Hunting here was so much better in the 70’s and 80’s and before the addiction to phones and social media that we see today. As you type on social media, a bit of irony eh!! You are correct that social media changed everything but there isn’t an age group at fault. Some poor decisions by a few have made huge ramifications for all of us. Hopefully we can get smart and quit lighting torches on our own a$$ 2
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted April 13, 2019 It’s the old guys wearing flat brims. That’s the real problem with the coyotes today.

ThomC Report post Posted April 13, 2019 One more step for socialism and one more step for communism. It is called death by a thousand cuts. I posted this problem on predatermasters.com and got very little response. 😭
trphyhntr Report post Posted April 13, 2019 This is the real problem some old fudds have with social media. They get jealous that there’s younger people out there doing way better than them at hunting and they get mad.
BeardownAZ Report post Posted April 26, 2019 Fudds. I cringe everytime I hear that word. Those are the real enemies in the hunting and gun world. Some idiot in my town has a sticker on his truck proclaiming to be one. I wanted to heave a brick right through it. For those that don't understand what a Fudd is, look it up and strive not to be one. Game and Fish is either run by liberals or Fudds or both. Either way, they aren't on our side. LifeFeedsOnLife Report post Posted April 28, 2019 I watched the most recent comission meeting and there were probably at least 30 people there to speak against coyote killing contests and 1 for. These people had screenshot Facebook conversations with hunters talking about blowing away coyotes and pictures of piles of coyotes left to rot. I'm in no way against killing contests but it's only a matter of time when the hunters post that kind of crap for everyone to see.
ThomC Report post Posted April 28, 2019 "Killing contests" "Blood sports" that is the kind of words the anti hunting/guns crowd are using to describe predator hunting. The game and fish staff is using these same words. They the staff are not proposing the positive benefits to controlled or modified predator hunts, or ways to use the hunts to benefit wildlife and wildlife management. If you are a mind to say who cares it doesnt bother me or I dont like to do them anyway then just remember this is just one step. It is a slippery slope. 😒
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted April 28, 2019 Show pics of half eaten fawns, calves, lamb, kids, and house pets. That might even picture game. Also stories from California about dogs and cats being taken from yards.
ThomC Report post Posted May 1, 2019 The problem with the carefree people is that it is too easy to just say no. They dont want to think outside the box, do a little work, and come up with some positive ways to adjust these hunts for the common good and benefits to wildlife. AZAV8ER Report post Posted May 8, 2019 OK so advertised organized killing contests are out, too bad so sad. But you and your buds are free to go out park your trucks and agree to whatever contest you cook up right then and there and get to still blast away at yotes. Not seeing a problem. Defending "killing for fun contests" is a whole different thing than defending predator control. The contests have a whole negative optic that just hard to defend.
