muledeerarea33? Report post Posted March 9, 2019 Are you setting it up on a hill side above a trail? If not how are you going to get pictures from ground level?
jdub Report post Posted March 10, 2019 Yes, the appplications are limited. I have a tank with no trees around it. I’ll put it just below the top of the ridge pointing across the water. Side hill on a trail I drop trace minerals on. I’m trying to avoid losing more cameras hanging on trees.
MT_Sourdough Report post Posted March 10, 2019 I'd make sure no rain water collects around cam or mud swallowing it up. Water height on the banks of a tank can change dramatically with one rain. I have thought about doing similar. I hope it works.

jdub Report post Posted March 10, 2019 Funny, my biggest concern is critters using it as a den.

AZ8 Report post Posted March 10, 2019 Good idea, but a lot of tanks don’t have rocks on them. If that’s the only “rock” on the tank, it will draw your attention. Good luck. Let us know how they work
MT_Sourdough Report post Posted April 6, 2019 Have you put this to work yet?
