Mule deer hunting is the pinnacle for me.  Unbelieveable! Congrats to the hunter.

Awesome buck. But reading the article it says DIY, so why the watermarks, and why is it "presented" by blackovis? Does he own the company? Not in any way knocking the guy, I'm sure he puts in more time in field in month then I do in a year. Just curios.

He's with western hunter I believe, shoots monsters all the time, this buck will be all about the Benjamins,  I'm guessing $500,000.00+ if not a million

I know the hunter who took the Gordon Buck.  I've hunted with him in the past.  He shot the buck at high altitude in Colorado its not a cactus buck.  One of his friends owns Black Orvis and was on the hunt with him and that's the connection to Black Orvis.   Justin is very much into the research of the area he hunts, and the hunt was 100% on his own on a spot and stalk no blind hunting.  It couldn't happen to a better guy who knows his woods craft and works hard for the deer he gets. Congratulations Justin!
