the wild horses coming of the rez are way out of control . they are serious threat to people traveling the highway . those wishing to save them need to put them in a corral.

Wait until they get Hollywood status like the Salt River herd. They’ll then become untouchable.

That is a purty picture.  It reminds me of the days gone by when we just shot thieves.  Bring back the good old days.  😉

the wolves in Arizona have different genes than the Yellowstone wolves from Canada; and have difficulty finding protein on their own,  these horses released and lost by the apachies  may actually help the wolves get over the transition hump.

Typical bleeding hearts running things out of emotion and not logic. Shoot them all! No different then any other feral animal. Why aren't hogs treated the same way???

I read an article yesterday and it said that 16 horses from the Heber herd have been found dead since October. Of those 16, they confirmed 10 were shot.

Appears some people up there aren't too happy with those horses.

The have done multiple stories on this topic in the white mountain independent and it is interesting to read the different perspectives and the "committee" that has been working on a resolution to the differences!

Just one sampling of their articles........usually every week something written about the "plight" of the "wild" horses that are protected by "federal" law...........

Problem is, they're not wild horses from the long lost past of Western lore. They are escaped feral horses. Nothing more. Period!

Back in the day Purina or Jack in the box utilized them.
