a simple question??

When did blue jeans, a red and black flannel shirt and an orange cap become the official atire of hunter in this state? I just returned from guiding in 34b, and what a zoo! We saw over 60 hunters in 2 1/2 days and 80% of them were wearing the atire I listed above.

have to agree with the breeze here. camo, scent cover up crap, goretex, etc. are all over rated. if a deer sees you, it doesn't matter what you're wearing. deer are colorblind, so plaid oughta be about as good as anything else. i prefer all dark clothes. dark blue or black. when you're still, you look like a shadow. nothing wrong with camo, but it doesn't give much advantage. and i'm sick of not being able to find decent boots without that stinkin' foot oven, goretex in em. i hate that stuff. this is the stinkin' desert. when was the last time it rained enough that you needed to keep your feet dry? if the snow is deep then i wear my snowshoes. Lark.

I have some real old hunting video's of Chuck Adams before he sold out to the camo companys. Some of you may remember that many years ago all Chuck would wear for his archery hunts was blue jeans and a flannel shirt. In one of the video's Chuck actually explains that deer are color blind and camo is just a bunch of hype! I guess the checks he received from Realtree helped him change his mind!

Rembrandt, could you fax that memo to me at 970.245.3076? Also, please send a signed, notarized copy by registered mail. I'll have my custom clothing designer get right on it right away. I'm heading to Arizona in mid-December for 2 weeks of pure Coues deer delight and sure don't want to be out of tune with the Arizona fashion show. It would certainly ruin my whole experience, even if I shot a whopper.

Awright .270, are you trying to get things started again? I think you are, buddy. I know you all too well. You 'bout wore me out last time. My brain still hurts. I aged 5 or so years during our last debate, and I don't have them to spare. For a long while there, I didn't think I was gonna survive you. Still not sure, as I am having weekly medical checkups at our local hospital.

TAM, nobody................but nobody, ever sells out in the huntin 'biz. Just ask Lark.

I might wear blue jeans, but definitely no red/black flannel. Prolly will wear an orange cap due to......................wait, maybe I won't. Might just make a target for the mean, nasty, tired, and pissed off Arizona residents this year.

I've killed a pile of coues deer wearing blue jeans and a flannel type top or shirt. I also believe that the camo thing is Waaaaaaaaayyyyyy!!!!! over-rated as it pertains to hunting coues with a rifle. The camo thing is just another way for people to make a living off of our insatiable desire to have stuff. It's the american way.
