firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted January 7, 2019 I have all the stuff, and I've tried a little I'm honestly just not comfortable enough with how they have turned out.
PRDATR Report post Posted January 7, 2019 What are you having trouble with, the crimping?
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted January 7, 2019 It just never looks right. I've followed the instructions as they are written and nothing looks right.

n2horns Report post Posted January 7, 2019 For my hunting and self defense 10mm loads, I buy from underwood ammo. They make hot safe loads. For my javelina hunting, I use a 220 grain hard cast lead or the 200 grain xtp.
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted January 7, 2019 Yep, I've got a few boxes of that 220 hardcast. Shot it last week. That stuff is no joke.
fatbastard Report post Posted January 8, 2019 I had the same troubles. I was crushing hollow points trying to crimp and seat in one shot. I did get it eventually, (thanks to advice from those here on the forum) but the easy button is to seat and crimp in separate steps. Find out how much crimp your gun likes and only use the minimum. Aaaand if you are not into reloading, you know where to drop off your brass

Hoss50 Report post Posted January 8, 2019 I seat and crimp pistol ammo in 2 separate steps most if the time. .357 mag and 38 special especially give me fits if I try 1 step.
