bowhunter89 Report post Posted October 31, 2004 1st i would like to comment on this forum. I think it is a great thing, and ive learned a ton of things on Coues. It is very helpful, thnx. i enjoy reading all the forums. Its truly helpful Im only 15, and have a great appreciation for hunting and the outdoors, and im new to bowhunting, hopefully this winter i will be my first time out with my bow . Ive been practicing real hard on being "deadly" accurate with my bow I dont care what kind of deer i get, but i at least want to get one. I live in gilbert, and 24b is very close to my house (45mins). Ive read the game and fish unit reports, but i still dont think it is enough. The area ive been in lots of times is around queen valley. Is this a good place to be for coues or mulies?I plan on being North, northeast of queen valley to hunt. I havent been out scouting much, because my dad doesnt have much time, but i do know we will be out scouting a lot more. So if you could please give some advice on some areas around Qv, that woulb be very helpful, Thnx for any help. I realy appreciate it
bullwidgeon Report post Posted November 1, 2004 Can you hike? What about scale cliffs? If so the place for you is the rugged stuff around Apache lake. Both nice coues deer and mulies abound. Good luck. Bret M.
