WTB Heated socks

This place has a ton of heated socks.  If you can believe it I bought a pair of Volt 3V socks specifically for AZ as you only really need big boots for maybe 2 hours in the morning.  Haven't really used them much but they seem to work.  I only plan to turn them on when my feet get cold then turn them off so they should last a week.  They are very thin so should fit inside any boot with your regular socks.

If you want serious pack boots made for hiking these are way better than the LL Bean boots.   I use them for elk hunting.

The Kenetrek with that triple lining are like the ones I own. I thought they were Bean's but I looked and they are from La Crosse. Except for the linings,  I sure don't see much difference between the Grizzly and regular Bean boots of the same style either

I agree those boots look hideous,but I’d rather be warm than look good on any given day. Especially while out in the field. My .02

Wranglers or carhearts for me  , good boots danner, and smart wool socks , and not be a puss , but if I can wear something that looks bad , and be warm I’m in for sure .

You need to hire a hot masseur chick that will keep you hot and warm and you will for get about  your feet.

id be freaked out about a thermal runaway with them strapped to my feet. we all wore bunny boots in AK. nothing beats them but your feet are going to be hot and not really adequate for mobility.

Lowa Hunter EVO grx extrme.  This is the warmer big brother boot to fhe Tibet.  I have a pair if you want to put your hands on them.

Also, it is not good to wear too big ot too many socks as you close off the ability for warm air to circulate around the foot.   A thinner socks is better.   

Sweaty feet can cause cold feet too, you can spray feet down with anitperspirant, it will keep feet drier and warner.

I’m from Minnesota and know a lot about hunting in the cold. Everyone wears those duck boots, and for good reason.
