well thank God for Bill Quimby-knowledge can still come late in my life it seems.  i remember bumping into Stauffer on a Palo Alto Ranch rd driving a Mercedes just north of the Buenos Aires circa 1995-and the next day the refuge manager asked me to forget i ever saw him.

maybe this thread should get nuked....but i still wonder about that lion pic.
